What you get

  • Available now

    Claim and manage your race

If your race is already in Abu Race, you take it over once we've briefly checked that you're the organizer. If it isn't there yet, we set it up with you. From then on you manage dates, distances, registration, entry fees and links yourself; your details go live right away, marked with “organizer” as the source.

  • Built during the pilot

    Race info in one place

Start times, packet pickup, getting there and your race guide as a PDF, for everyone who has your race in their passport.

  • Built during the pilot

    Keep runners in the loop

When the date, start time or course changes, everyone with your race in their passport sees it. No mailing list needed.

  • Built during the pilot

    QR stamps at the finish

Put up one QR code at the finish and your finishers collect your race's stamp in their passport.

  • Built during the pilot

    Certificates from your results

Your results list turns into a PDF certificate for every finisher using Abu Race, and their entry is verified.

To be upfront

During the pilot, only a few runners will be using Abu Race, so at first you'll reach a small part of your field. How we reach more of your runners, for example with a note in your race guide, is something we'll work out together. Anything marked “built during the pilot” is still in progress; on our call we'll tell you what will be ready for your race day.

What it costs you

€0

The pilot is free for organizers. Afterwards you decide whether to continue, and if anything costs money later, you'll know before you commit.

Some of your time, for

  • a short call beforehand, by phone or video,
  • your race details: enter them yourself or send them over and we'll add them,
  • a QR code at the finish on race day (we send it to you ready to print),
  • your results list afterwards, the way you already publish it (link or PDF), and honest feedback.

What we promise

  • Your details, marked as yours

Whatever you enter is shown with “organizer” as the source.

  • Until you claim it: only what's backed by a source

Abu Race then only shows details from your website and from Wikidata, each with a source and a date. It reads each organizer's public website individually, never through platforms. If you'd rather it stopped reading yours, a short email is all it takes.

  • No registration platforms, no full results lists

Abu Race doesn't crawl registration platforms, race calendars or timing services. From a results list it keeps only the rows of runners who use Abu Race, each in their own passport.

  • No subscription, no surprises

The pilot simply ends, nothing to cancel. Whether and how it continues is up to you.
